Today I start my new job as a Lead Software Engineer at Mechanical Orchard.

As I posted last month, Sequin decided to transition to 100% in-person based in San Francisco. I’m not able to make that move, so I started looking for a new position and found it very quickly.

Mechanical Orchard works with large organizations to help modernize their older mainframe applications by replicating them into the cloud. I expect to work on some really interesting problems in domains I haven’t seen before, so I’ll get to learn a ton!

I’m looking forward to getting to know my new co-workers and seeing what we can build together.

Once again, I really appreciate all of you who reached out with opportunities and encouragement. I had a number of interesting positions to consider, and that’s largely thanks to your suggestions.
