I was recently on the Elixir Mix podcast, talking about some of the Elixir open source projects I’ve worked on recently.

The main topic we discussed was the Elixir ConfigCat SDK I worked on last year.

We also talked about mix_test_interactive, a tool I released earlier this year. mix_test_interactive is adapted from Louis Pilfold’s wonderful mix_test_watch, but adds an interactive element that allows you to control which tests you want to run.

We had a fun side discussion on the use of emoji in log messages and for git commits. I mentioned gitmoji, which provides a catalog of emoji to use for various kinds of code changes.
